12th Nagoya Profession English Book Club was held

In 4th June, Wednesday afternoon, the 12th Nagoya Profession English Bookclub was held in Nagoya.

This time, we discussed under the theme of Abenomics evaluation.

In the first half of the program, we read and talked about in each paragraph of the article the moderator specified, ‘Hope in Japan That Shinzo Abe’s “Abenomics” May Be a Cure’ ( http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/21/world/asia/hope-in-japan-that-abenomics-may-be-turning-things-around.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 ) issued in NYTimes website.

In addition, in the second half, while citing impact of Abenomics, we continue talking to organize our opinion in so-called pro / con format.

Many comments were presented and finally, we found variety of viewpoints were included, such as the point of view of people’s lives and perspectives of government-run. Of course we know it is not well organized, but running out of time, it was with the results of as shown in the photograph.

Thank you, Mr Yusei Yamazaki and Mr Masahiro Kunishima, for attending the anniversary meeting.

Well, I found that there are differences between actual programme and the original schedule we planned in march. So we have to adjust date and moderator for the next meeting. I will ask you in several days for the next date after asking Mr Toru Oda for his participation as a moderator for the next meeting.

Thank you.

communication with customer in global age

I have just finished a chat with an engineer in US. They suggested RMA(Return Materials Authorization)as the SSD is in scope of their three year warranty.

It seem that occasion to use non-mother tangue for enterprises’s person nor customer for their communication is getting more. In that case, such an simple warranty procedure would be better.

Current situation

Dear Readers,

Thank you for your kindness. I am working as usual in Nagoya, located in west part of Japan without any fear of tsunami, the earthquakes nor the nuclear power plant accident.

Tohoku area, northern part of the district, has snow today with serious poor paraffin oil, water and food supply. But in this one or two days, railway detour route will be repaired from Tokyo to Morioka, northern part of Tohoku and road repairs have been continued. Goods and support members supply are increasing rapidly.

The nuclear power plants status is still still in serious situation. Temperature of some used nuclear fuel in stock, means not in containment vessel, is increasing. Some capsules are guessed as melted. In this morning, flashing water with helicopter had started. In this afternoon, water cannon truck activity will begin. Electric power supply line is prepared to be connected to the plant for cooling nuclear cells. Please pray for success of those provisions.

In victim area, two plants and one related farm of the company are in Tochigi and Ibaraki prefecture. The company is ongoing inquire after the employees and their families.

The Japanese and local area government staffs, Japanese self defense force military members, policemen, power supply company members and all the victims are working very hard in this four days. The status of the area is still in serious condition and announcing that receiving citizen volunteers outside have not be prepared. Living outside of the area, all I can do now is live as usual and support the economy with some donation.

Thank you again for your warm heart.
